Founded by the RIGAL family in 1755, the company's history is synonymous with that of prestige wines from Cahors and the south-west.
Since the 1970s, Franck and Jacques RIGAL have been building up the family business by concentrating on the 135 hectares (310 acres) of their three great châteaux: Prieuré de Cénac, Saint Didier Parnac and Grézels. At the same time, these forward looking, dynamic operators also became substantial traders dealing in all the appellations and wine growing areas of the south-west.
For 300 years the RIGAL brand has been a guarantee of tradition, authenticity and quality for a wide range of wines. From Bergerac in the west, Fronton in the east, and Madiran in the south, RIGAL is the name behind the great wines of Cahors and south-west France.
